Maswa Game Reserve is located south of the Serengeti, and Karyl Whitman, a researcher with the Lion Research Center, is studying the lion prides in this area. One of Karyl's primary interests is to understand the impact of commercial hunting of male lions on the lion population in total for this Reserve.
